Development
We welcome heifers at 2.5 months of age, where they begin development in our trainer pens. Once they are ready, heifers are transitioned into headlock pens and entered into the breeding program at the client’s preferred age. After confirmed pregnancy, heifers remain on-site until approximately 180 days of gestation or clients preferred days of gestation, at which point they are shipped back to the client.
Rations and Feeding
With the support of a professional nutritionist, we provide carefully balanced rations designed to support heifers at every stage of development. Heifers are fed twice daily with high-quality feed to promote consistent growth, health, and reproductive success.
We grow the majority of our crops on-site and supplement with outside feed sources when needed to ensure nutritional demands are always met and heifers continue to perform at a high level.
